Plan Your Next Event at Ashcombe
Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses is available to host private events. Our rental spaces can accommodate small parties of up to 25 people. From birthday parties of the young and not so young, team building for coworkers, classes to just do with your friends, we have hosted them all! Get in contact with our Marketing Team to get started on your event today.
Teambuilding:
If you're looking to build some camaraderie among your team, consider taking a class here and work together to create a finished product, like terrariums or seasonal porch pots. See some ideas and pricing under "private Classes."
Field Trips:
Ashcombe is a great place for field trips. Science classes can tour our greenhouses and learn about what it takes to grow plants. Bring your class by for a visit to our Fall Harvest events in October for a great, low-cost trip.
Private Classes:
Take any of our offered classes with your friends or family in a private class. Private classes can be added to any other event to create a wonderful Ashcombe experience. Great class examples include potted planters, wreath making, or terrarium classes.
See some price estimates below (price subject to change based on materials used):
- Potted Planter: $45-60 depending on season and plants (For regular seasonal planters, see specific pricing: Fall - $45, Spring - $50, Winter - $60)
- *Herb Planter (10" pot): $25
- Fresh Holiday Wreath Making: $60 (November and December only)
- *Terrarium (glass): $25-45 depending on materials and size
- *Succulent Garden: $40
- Fairy Garden: *$25 OR $7 plus cost of supplies
- Macramé Plant Hanger (plant and pot) included): $30
- Macramé Air Plant Hanger (air plant included): $20
*Available for Group Discount Rate: for groups of 8+, 10% off per-person cost (i.e. $40/person class to $36 each in groups of 8+)
Birthday Parties:
We've hosted countless birthday parties in the past for all ages. Rent the space, bring your own food and décor! We also have crafts and activities to add to any party experience. Activity ideas and price per person below:
- Mini Pizza Herb Garden: $10
- Mini Fairy or Dino Garden: $15
- Mini Terrariums: $10
- Cookie Decorating kits: $10
- Decorate a pot and plant a small flower: $15 (includes terracotta pot)
- Painting Pumpkins (fall only): $10 or $15 (size dependent)
- Sensory Bins: $15
Private classes are priced per person with no additional fee. Classes added to any room rental are an additional deposit depending on class content and amount of people attending. The room rental booking fee covers the use of the room or outdoor space, tables, and chairs for your desired timeframe. Final head counts must be submitted no later than two-weeks before the event. Fun classes, perfect for a variety of ages
Private Event Spaces
Rent a space at Ashcombe Farm and Greenhouses for private events, classes, and parties for kids or adults! Each space is $75 for a 3-hour block of time (minimum amount of time) and additional hours may be purchased at $25 per hour.
All tables and chairs are provided. Outside food is permitted. Please provide your own table coverings and basic decorations.
Space availability may vary by season and other events present. Spaces are not available for rent during other Ashcombe events, sales, or busy days.
Classes and activities can be added to your room rental at the costs listed in sections above, priced per person.

Back of Café
This quaint, cozy room, perfect for small meetings, is located in our café, separated from the rest of the café seating with a sliding barn door. Due to its location indoors, this space is available year-round for booking.
Available all year. Capacity: 12
Courtyard
Located in the heart of Ashcombe Farm & Greenhouses, our courtyard is the perfect place for a small, outdoor gathering. Activities can be set up under the awning, or in the path that loops around the perimeter of the courtyard.
Available spring, summer, and fall - weather permitting. Capacity varies by layout.
Bloom Room
Known as the "Bloom Room," this bright blue building sits next door to our Nursery, located in the parking lot across the road from our main store. This large, open space features a counter perfect for food and drinks at your next party. Please note that this space is currently unfinished and does not have heating, A/C, or running water.
Available spring, summer, and fall. Capacity: 40
Meeting Room
Our meeting room is located in our warehouse next to our main store, and you may recognize it as a place where we host classes! Due to its location indoors, this space is available for rent year-round.
Available all year. Capacity 20.
