Plant Palooza at Ashcombe!

Our annual houseplant extravaganza is back for 2023! Throughout the week of Plant Palooza, you’ll enjoy sales on all your houseplant favorites including plants, containers, soils, chemicals, and fertilizers. Also – visit the propagation station to help share the love of plants. At the Stem Swap, you can bring a cutting from home and swap it for something else, for free!

January 28th:
Culinary Herbs 11am: Learn the basics of growing and preserving 10 different culinary herbs. Then, take home 2 herbs of your choice! Fee $15
January 29th:
Veggie Gardening for Beginners 11am: Learn the basics of vegetable gardening from an Ashcombe expert! Take home a seed packet and an herb to get you started for spring. Fee $10
Air Plant Holders 1pm: Make 3 unique air plant holders using rocks and wire. Then, select three plants to go with them! These are perfect for home or office decor. Fee $18
February 4th:
Not Your Ordinary Herb Garden 11am: Mike Larkin will demonstrate a new kind of herb container garden and you’ll take home an herb for yourself. Fee $10
Terrarium Trio 1pm: Create three different terrariums in stemless wineglasses. Fee $25
February 5th:
Wine Bottle Planter 11am: Using a unique wine bottle planter, you will create your very own succulent planter to take home. We provide everything you’ll need! Fee $30
Propagating Demonstration 1pm: Learn the basics of propagating then take home a collection of plants to get started yourself. Fee $15
